 is performing in Bristol at a special Mum Fest edition of the Library Coffee House, on Thursday, September 24 @ 6:30 PM. Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street. No charge. Sponsored by a grant by the Bristol Brass General Grant Fund, the Gnazzo/Reidy Charitable Fund and the Elizabeth Tyrell Fund for the Arts at the Main Street Community Foundation.

Bristol’s Cemetery Commission’s Lantern Tour

Starting at 6:59 pm groups of 25 will visit the final resting places of some of West Cemeteries notable and not-so-notable residents, led by lantern light.
Reservations are suggested. Please use the form to sign up for your tour of the West Cemetery.  Character actors will share their true-yet-darker-tales. This tour may not be suitable for children under 13. Wear appropriate walking shoes and bring a flashlight. Tours will start 15 minutes after sunset – (6:59 p.m.) with groups of 25 going off every 20 minutes.

The 47th Annual Mum A Thon - Road Race & Fitness Walk

Hosted by Bristol's Sports Hall of Fame. The 47th Annual Mum A Thon - Road Race & Fitness Walk is one of Connecticut's longest continually running athletic events. This 5K course winds through downtown Bristol is considered flat and fast ! Come enjoy a Fall morning in a friendly environment. Proceeds from the run will be turned over to Bristol's Sports Hall of Fame. REGISTRATION 7AM; Kids fun Run 8:15, 5K run and fitness walk starts at 8:30.
